Messerschmitt “Taifun” (typhoon)
was a monoplane with low wings, retractile landing train and
capacity for three passengers and one pilot. This type of aircraft
was the predecessor and quite similar to II World War’s German
Me-109 chasers.
In VARIG it was assigned the registry PP-VAJ and flew from September
26 to November 24, 1936, when it was retired from service.
